Meet the Principal

My name is Cheryl Fullmer, and I am honored and excited to serve as the founding principal of Silver Spruce Elementary. While our school may be new in name, it has been built on a strong foundation of community, collaboration, and a shared commitment to helping every child thrive.

Personally, I am a proud mom of twin daughters who are currently attending college. Family is at the center of everything I do, and that perspective shapes the way I lead. I understand the trust families place in schools, and I believe strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success.

Throughout my career as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal, I have been passionate about creating schools where students feel safe, known, challenged, and inspired. I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and joyful, and that schools should help students grow not only as learners, but also as kind, compassionate, and courageous people.

What excites me most about Silver Spruce is the opportunity to build something special together. Our mission is to be a welcoming and inclusive community where every child is known, valued, and empowered. We create safe, joyful environments, engage students in authentic and rigorous learning, and nurture curiosity, compassion, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.

As an EL Education school, we believe in the power of Crew—that we are stronger together and that everyone belongs. My goal is to ensure that every student feels connected, every family feels welcomed, and every child discovers their unique strengths and potential.
