Crew at Silver Spruce
At Silver Spruce Elementary, we believe that Crew is at the heart of who we are. Just like a herd of moose is stronger together, our students and staff thrive when they feel connected, supported, and valued.
Crew is a dedicated time each day for students and adults to build meaningful relationships, strengthen trust, and create a strong sense of belonging. Through games, conversations, team-building activities, and reflection, students learn more about themselves and each other while developing the skills they need to be successful learners, leaders, and community members.
Crew provides a safe space for students to celebrate successes, navigate challenges, practice empathy, and grow in character. It is also where we prepare for important school experiences such as Student-Led Conferences, North Star Assemblies, service projects, and other community events.
At Silver Spruce, we live by the belief that we are Crew, not passengers. Together, we support one another, challenge one another, and help every member of our herd reach their full potential.
